We recently had the joy of welcoming a beautiful soul who chose to celebrate her birthday with the children under our care—and what a day it was!
She brought along a bouncy castle, cotton candy machine, popcorn stand, face painting, food, music, and so many games. The children danced, laughed, ran around, and had the time of their lives. From sack races to sing-alongs and face painting to sweet treats, it felt like a festival made just for them.
It reminded us of one very special time of the year:
Our Annual Christmas Party.
For most of these kids, this kind of celebration only happens once a year—during the Christmas party we organize through The Ampem Darkoa Foundation. It’s the one time they get to enjoy that much joy, fun, and attention. It’s more than a party—it’s a memory that stays with them for months.
But we can’t do it alone.
That’s why we’re calling on you—our community of supporters and kind-hearted individuals—to help us make this year’s Christmas party just as magical (or even better!).

• Money – to help us rent equipment, buy gifts, food, and party items
• Food items or drinks – for the party itself
• Gently used clothes, shoes, and school bags – for gifting the kids

• Or even your time – to help organize or entertain the children
