The Ampem Darkoa Foundation is a community-rooted initiative dedicated to supporting underprivileged children in Larteh-Akuapem and beyond. We believe every child deserves a fair chance at life—through food, education, clothing, emotional care, and safety.

Founded in January 2025 by EiJay Frimpong, a single mother driven by her lifelong love for children, the foundation began by feeding a few kids at school and quickly grew into a full community effort. Today, we support over 130 children through consistent feeding programs, education support, uniform and school supply drives, and emotional well-being outreach.

We also work closely with single mothers—empowering them through small business support, family planning education, and community-based initiatives.
Our work is entirely community-led and donor-supported. Every meal shared, every book donated, and every volunteer hour brings us one step closer to our dream: a free, fully-equipped school in Larteh-Akuapem for children who can’t afford one.
We are building more than a program—we’re building a future where no child is left behind.
